After Switch Lite was unveiled few weeks ago, the latest Nintendo Switch variant to hit the markets is as unique as it could get!
Nintendo is all set to release a Disney-themed Switch console, which will be available only in Japan. The new model will be launched alongside the mini-game collection, Disney Tsum Tsum Festival, on October 10 this year. The pretty pink and purple console will be based on the popular Tsum Tsum game, and thus, will be featuring designs of famous Japanese collectible stuffed toys based upon Disney-owned characters. While the Tsum Tsum patterned dock displays images of Stitch, Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse; the pink Joy-Con controller showcases Mickey Mouse ears adorning the Home button. Cute!
The new Japan-exclusive Switch model comes with a longer battery life. It will cost ¥36,080 (USD $330).
The colorful Joy-Con controllers are indeed the most attractive feature of the console. But fret not, as Nintendo has planned to launch two new Joy-Con color pairs – blue and neon yellow, and neon purple and neon orange pair. These will enter the markets on October 4 this year.
