Sounds like a yum, yum treat – doesn’t it?
Leading American fast food restaurant chain specializing in fried chicken, Kentucky Fried Chicken, more popularly known as KFC the world over, recently hosted a “World Cup of Games” competition on social media, asking people to vote for their favorite video games.
It caught everyone’s attention almost immediately and thousands of votes started pouring in. So much so that the at the end of the competition, the organizers confirmed that nearly 10,000 people had participated, and the final result was soon declared – Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege, the online tactical shooter, developed by Ubisoft, took over the top slot, beating Minecraft in the final round.
“The turnout from the community was huge… guess we’ll have to put together a reward for the R6 Siege family” – was posted on the KFC Gaming Twitter account then.
While we all kept wondering what that reward could be, KFC Gaming has recently kind of demystified it, teasing a Rainbow Six Siege tournament with “cash and chicken” to be won. It again took to Twitter and released a video showcasing some footage from prominent Rainbow Six streamers and Pro League matches.
