If you feel that you’ve seen very little of the upcoming role-playing video game Final Fantasy 7 Remake, here’s a treat for you!
Japanese video game company Square Enix revealed at Tokyo Game Show a brand new trailer of the title, which impressively looks pretty heavy on action.
The two-and-a-half minute video takes us through some extremely intense fight sequences involving protagonists Cloud, Tifa, Barret, Aerith and Jessie. We also see some familiar faces like the creepy Don Corneo and the Turks including characters like Reno and Rude. Amongst other things, there’s a revamped version of the gym mini-game, summon monsters and the tense train sequence.
We are also introduced to a brand new, mysterious character SOLDIER, but the developer hasn’t revealed much about this new addition.

Final Fantasy 7 Remake was last seen at E3 2019, where we were shown an extended gameplay and combat demonstration, along with the popular character, Tifa.
Final Fantasy VII Remake is due to launch for PlayStation 4 on March 3, 2020. However, it will comprise a small part of the story, as the makers have planned to reveal the game into several parts. Each segment will be treated like a complete JRPG, packed with all the content. Be ready to play the first part set in Midgar; it will be the first 10 hours of the 40-hour story.
The Deluxe or Standard edition of the game is up for pre-order on Amazon.
