Good News – Sony Reduces PlayStation 4 Price In India Permanently

Ahead of the much anticipated launch of PlayStation 5 scheduled for next year, Sony has reportedly announced a permanent price drop on its PlayStation 4 Slim 1TB in India. While it was retailed for INR 33,650 earlier, NDTV reports that the console’s revised price tag is INR 29,990.

PS4 Slim 1TB is also available with a Mega Pack comprising three new pack-in video games, namely God of War, Uncharted 4 and Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition. There’s more – those buying the console will also receive a PS Plus subscription for three months. Under this subscription, the users will get access to online multiplayer, cloud saves and two new video games every month.

Having said that, if you check the latest price of PS4 Slim 1TB on Sony India’s website, you will be disappointed, as it is yet to reflect there. But don’t lose heart, as it will be updated soon.

According to The Mako Reactor website, the new PS 4 Slim 1TB bundle will be available in the markets from mid-September. In addition to finding it on various retail stores including Croma and Reliance Digital Stores, you will also be able to get one for yourself from Games The Shop, Amazon India and Flipkart.

Moreover, it has also been reported that Sony has discontinued the PS4 Slim 500GB in India. This clearly means that now only PS4 Slim 1TB and PS4 Pro will be available in the country. The latter is all set to hit the Indian stores in the first week of October, and it will be available for INR 38,710.
