Originally launched in Japan as Seiken Densetsu 3 way back in 1995, Trials of Mana is all set for a remake! And not just any other plain remake, but a full high-definition re-release!
In a joint announcement during the Nintendo Direct held recently, Nintendo and Square Enix confirmed that the third installment of the popular series, Trials of Mana, will make it to the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC (Steam) on April 24, 2020.
Currently under development, the remake will include a brand new, real-time combat system, striking 3D graphics, and a class-changing system.

Here’s the official description of Trials Of Mana HD Remake by Square Enix –
“Originally released in Japan as Seiken Densetsu 3 in 1995, and later making its debut in the West with the Collection of Mana™ on Nintendo Switch earlier this year, Trials of Mana is a full, high-definition remake of the third entry in the classic Mana series, seamlessly bringing the beloved story and characters to a new, modern era of fans with real-time combat, beautiful 3D graphics and updated gameplay. The game tells the story of six heroes as they battle against the forces of evil that threaten a world where Mana has been weakened. Players will craft their own experiences by selecting a party of three from these unique characters as they embark on the adventure of a lifetime to protect the very essence of Mana itself.”
You will get special bonuses if you pre-order or purchase the physical or digital versions of the game by May 21, 2020 for the Nintendo Switch or PlayStation 4. In that case, you will be eligible for free access to a DLC that will give you extra experience points. Those buying a digital copy of the game via the PlayStation Store will get an exclusive avatar set featuring the video game’s six heroes.
