Watch Gameplay Trailer Of Nightwolf – Mortal Kombat 11's Next Character

Developer NetherRealm Studios and publisher Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment released the first official trailer for the Mortal Kombat 11 fighter named Nightwolf.

The latest competitor to join the game as DLC will be downloadable beginning August 13 for those who purchase the Kombat Pack, which means you can play as Nightwolf a week early before its official launch slated for August 20.

The gameplay trailer was dropped during EVO 2019. Check it out here –

The official press release explains the new character thus, “Nightwolf, born as Grey Cloud, is a proud and fierce warrior dedicated to the cause of good and chosen by the Great Spirit to become the Matoka tribe’s champion and protector. Along with his signature tomahawk swing, Nightwolf possesses extraordinary magic that allows him to manifest weapons created from spirit energy to fight for the Matoka’s future and defend all of Earthrealm.”

Nightwolf follows the launch of the first Mortal Kombat 11 DLC character, Shang Tsung that came out in in June this year.

Nightwolf made his debut in the popular fighting video game franchise with 1995’s Mortal Kombat 3, and he was last seen in 2011’s Mortal Kombat. In the upcoming title, the character will be back with some of his signature style and moves, including his spectral bow and arrows and his ability to use tomahawk lightning.

As one of his powers, the fierce Nightwolf can enhance his abilities by using animal spirits, depending on the animal selected. While the wolf, for example, adds more speed to his attacks, the bear gives him more defense.

You can own Nightwolf by purchasing the $39.99 Kombat Pack, which is a set of DLC including six additional fighters, alternative skins, new gear sets, and a lot more. The pack comprises Nightwolf, Shang Tsung, Spawn, and Sindel as confirmed characters, while its final two characters have yet to be announced, but they will be added soon.

Mortal Kombat 11, launched on April 23, 2019, is available for you on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch.
